Day 1: Saturday / KOTOR – PERAST
Check in at 5 pm and meeting the crew with the traditional welcome drink. After a short navigation, we come at Perast, where we spend the first night on board enjoying dinner and company. The Gulf of Kotor (Boka Kotorska) cuts deeply into the coastline of the southern part of the Yugoslav Adriatic, creating four spectacular bays ringed in mountains, the “fjords” of the Mediterranean.
The little town of Perast is situated where the innermost bays of Risan and Kotor converge. Preceded by two jewel-like islands, Perast is focused on the sea. From the interaction between mainland and bay, the inherent contrast of stone and water, the dialogue of island and wave, sometimes in harmony but often in conflict, this sea-faring town has derived its unity, strength, and sense of purpose.
Day 2: Sunday / PERAST – HERCEG NOVI
After breakfast, we start our trip from Perast to Herceg Novi. During the day we will serve lunch on the board and make few stops for swimming. From the sea, the view of Herceg Novi is breathtaking. A tradition of importing seeds, exotic plants, trees and fruits from around the world has transformed Herceg Novi into a veritable botanic garden, carefully tended and expanded over centuries.Built on a series of terraces, this Town Garden is positioned perfectly, with a view of the open sea and two peninsulas: Lustica and Prevllaka. Herceg Novi is also known as the Town of the Writers.
The list of famous writers from whom Herceg Novi was a muse is long . Writers have always been fascinated with Herceg Novi and his love for the town grows with each new generation. Perhaps it is the dominating blues and greens of this sea-landscape that brings tranquility and inspiration.
Day 3: Monday / HERCEG NOVI – CAVTAT
After breakfast, we start our trip from Herceg Novi to Cavtat. Again during the day, we will make few stops for swimming and lunch on board. Cavtat is the most southern town in Croatia. The Cavtat area is most attractive because of the Mediterranean vegetation which covers the whole area; another advantage is unpolluted sea and a very attractive mixture of old and new architecture. Among the attractions of Cavtat is the Rector’s Palace, the Baroque church of St. Nikola, the Franciscan monastery, the Racic Mausoleum, archaeological sites of the pre-Slav period, city walls, the Šipun cave etc. Cavtat also offers a 7 km promenade by pine forests paths only a few meters from the sea. Cavtat is one of the rare places on the Croatian coast that can offer such harmony.
Day 4: Tuesday / CAVTAT – ŠIPAN
After breakfast we start our trip from Cavtat to Sipan. During day we will serve lunch on the board and make few stops for swimming. Sipan Island (pronounced shee-pan) is the largest of the Elaphiti islands. In between is a verdant valley composed of olive and fig trees, vineyards and citrus groves. Sipan is famous for its wine and for its delightfully laid-back ambiance. Sudurad is a sleepy village stretched along the harbour, dominated by the 16th-century castle of the wealthy Stijepovic-Skocibuha family from Dubrovnik.
The most important historical sights are the fortified church of the Holy Spirit dating from 1577 and the parish church which contains several 15thcentury paintings. Dining is simple in Sudurad. A few taverns are in and around the wharf serving up coffee, cake, ice cream and simple meals.
Day 5: Wednesday / ŠIPAN – DUBROVNIK
After breakfast, we start our trip from Sipan to Dubrovnik. During the day we will serve lunch on the board and make few stops for swimming. A city tour will uncover one of the world’s most beautiful towns, a walled wonder that has been welcoming traders and visitors for hundreds of
years. Enjoy a stroll around the charming car-free old town, packed with aristocratic palaces, baroque churches, and medieval fortifications.
Overnight onboard in Dubrovnik.
Day 6: Thursday / DUBROVNIK – TIVAT
Like previous days after breakfast, we start our trip for that day. We take direction from Dubrovnik to Tivat. Again during the day, we will make few stops for swimming and lunch on board. After that, we follow our route to Tivat. Tivat is situated in the central part of the Bay of Boka at the foot of Vrmac. The Bay of Tivat is the largest of four bays forming the Bay of Boka. In addition, to visit the beautiful center of Tivat, it is also interesting to visit the first luxury marina on the Adriatic, Porto Montenegro. Walking in marina Porto Montenegro is a fun, glamorous and relaxing experience, with many facilities, restaurants highest rank, and fashion brands.
International delicacies and authentic traditional Mediterranean cuisine can be tasted in one of five restaurants in the village, from Italian delicacies, local traditional and international cuisine to Japanese sushi.
Day 7: Friday / TIVAT – KOTOR
Like previous days after breakfast, we start our trip for that day. We take direction from Tivat to Kotor. Again during the day, we will make few stops for swimming and lunch on board. The old Meditteranean port of Kotor is surrounded by fortifications built during the Venetian period. It is located on the Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska), one of the most indented parts of the Adriatic Sea.
Some have called it the southern-most fjord in Europe, but it is a submerged river canyon. Four centuries of Venetian domination have given the city the typical Venetian architecture, that contributed to making Kotor a UNESCO world heritage site.
Day 8: Saturday KOTOR
After the last breakfast will be served on board, we have to say goodbye. Check out is until 9 AM.
