For Active People. You can do lots of different sports while on a cruise.
Canoeing. This one is great.
It is super fun to take a canoe and go explore the coves and hidden bays and beaches with a canoe.
It is not for adrenaline junkies, but kids love it and their parents also.
Water skiing & Donut ride & Banana ride & Wakeboard
Gulet needs to have a dinghy with a minimum 40 HP motor and some equipment.
If you have small children or teenagers this one is almost a must have.
If this is important for you always double check before booking if the gulet has any of this equipment on board.
Very small number of gulets have jet ski on board as it usually brings a lot of problems with it.
People can get hurt while using it, they can get a penalty from police if they use it in areas they should not and you need a licence.
But lets face it.
If you have a licence and if you are at least moderately cautious – then this is really a cool option to have on board.
Snorkels, fins, masks, basic fishing gear.
Most of gulets have this equipment on board.
If you wish to try it once or twice it is great.
If you are a passionate fisherman or a huge fan of snorkeling, we still suggest you to bring this with you.
Local Water Sports Centers.
Local centers are very well equipped. Here is what they offer:
- Scuba diving (you need licence)
- Sup paddling
Water Sports Costs.
The water sports costs are charged differently from gulet to gulet.
Some gulets have all the water sports included in price – all you pay for is the fuel you use for water skiing for example.
Some gulets have price lists according to how much you use it.
Always double check the prices and the price concept for water sports for each gulet you are interested in.
