Zadar is an ancient Mediterranean port city that captivates all visitors with his magical beauty.
Built on Toman urban Principles in a rectangular shape, it offers many places for exploration of history and culture that remains to this day. The old town, surrounded by monumental walls and towers mixed with a new urban part is connected by a bridge, and it makes a characteristic symbol of the city. You will be welcomed on your cruise by Goolets representative who will introduce you to your crew. After you settle down on board you can head to the town and watch the most beautiful sunset, with Symphony of the Sea Organ and magical urban light installation “Pozdrav suncu” (Greetings to the Sun) in the background.
SUNDAY: Božava – Veli Rat
Today it is the time to get away from the hassle of everyday life and relax at island Dugi otok and anchor at Božava. Fragrant pine forest and peaceful beaches are characteristic for this place. After shortstop, you will head to Veli Rat that dates from Roman times but it had a very modern marina where you will anchor. After lunch, you can go to Punta Bjanca the biggest lantern in the Adriatic that is 42 meters high that you can even rent if you seek privacy. Here at Veli Rat you can also visit some of the local restaurants and try some of the local dedicated, and we, of course, would recommend fish menu. Enjoy in swimming in the open sea, walking under pine trees or just lying on the pebbly beach is already enough to revive your energy. You can also climb on top of the lighthouse for a small fee, and it is free for kids.
MONDAY: Plaža Sakarun – Mežanj
Southeast of Veli Rat is the sandy beach Sakarun that you will get to visit. It is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic! The beach is very well known because of white sand and beautiful blue sea framed by pine trees that provide a good shade in the summer. Beach is extremely large, shallow and suitable for families with young children. On the beach are two catering facilities and we recommend you to use some of the watersports available on your gulet and enjoy to the fullest. Dinner and overnight stay will be spent here. Later on, you will head to island Mežanj that is the absolutely perfect place for scuba diving! The tiny island offers diverse opportunity to explore huge and small underwater caves and marine life from beautiful gorgonians and colorful sponges, lobsters and other marine species. Diving is possible all year round, however, the best time is of course in summer. Marine life inside the cave is less abundant than in the crevices along its walls.
TUESDAY: Tri sestriece island- Nature Park Telašićica
Tri Sestrice or three sisters is the formation of 3 very small beautiful islets that you will stop by for a morning swim stop. Even some of the local Croatians probably never heard about this tiny place, so it is safe to say that this is one of the hidden gems perfect for a quick getaway from crowds and everyday life. After swim stop your Captain will lead you to Nature Park Telašćica situated in the central part of the eastern Adriatic coast, in the southeastern part of the island of Dugi Otok. Thanks to its extreme beauty, preserved nature this place is absolutely magical. There are many activities you can do here based on what your preferences are. We recommend going for a walk in nature, using some watersports like canoeing, autonomous diving, fishing, cycling…
On this day you will first visit the charming village Trubunj. Tribunj has a typical Dalmatian feel to it with a harbor on the peninsula, narrow streets and densely built houses. After breakfast, you can head for a walk and explore the old part of town and visit some of the local monuments. Sports enthusiasts that miss the feeling of being active can enjoy in tennis or some watersports. The village has several beaches, but most beautiful and popular is the Sovlja beach. Later on, you can explore the cemetery and the church of St. Nicholas the patron of sailors and fishermen. During the tourist season in August the traditional celebration, Tribunj and Fishermans night are organized and you might be lucky enough to see it. overnight stay and super nice dinner under the star will be held here.
THURSDAY: Skradin-National Park Krka
After you will head to another charming place a town called Skradin, one of the oldest Croatian towns. Skradin is an attractive tourist destination and one of the most beautiful marinas in Croatia is located right here! Be aware that you have an option of going from Skradin to explore gorgeous National Park Krka and its famous waterfalls where you can even swim! However, you will have to buy thicket and visit the park with the boat transfers in ownership of the park, since it is forbidden to sail their regular boats so nature can be preserved. As you are riding, you will be first amazed by stunning views of mountains and incredibly blue sea. Once you enter the park the fresh air and wonderfully preserved nature will sweep you off your feet. But the true natural phenomenon that will leave everyone amazed is waterfalls! Here you will find many exceptional spots for amazing photos, but not only that… You also can swim next to waterfalls in pristine clear water. This will make you feel absolutely rejuvenated and relaxed. You will feel sorry if you miss that beauty!
FRIDAY: Vrgada – Biograd na moru
Vrgada is tiny 3 km long island famous for sandy and pebbly beaches and pine groves popular among the naturists. Here you will find your perfect idea of a peaceful holiday. Here we will stop for swim break and tasty lunch. You can relax on board, soak up the sun, read your favorite book, or be active and have fun swimming, or using some of the watersports. Later you will head to the last destination of the day and that is Biograd na moru, a very popular vacation spot. The city center of the town is located on a small peninsula which is surrounded by ports, and a long lively promenade that you can explore. Here recreational tourism is very popular so you won’t have trouble finding some fun activities to do. During summer you might even come across some of the cultural-artistic dances or outdoor concerts and fairs.
Biograd na moru also has mostly pebble beaches, we recommend Dražica, which got the Blue Flag award (award for cleanliness and preservation of ecology).
After breakfast check out will be till 9:00 AM and then it will come time to say goodbye to your crew and Captain. Your cruise will finish in the town Zadar and If you want you can later before heading home further explore the town you are located in. Before you check-out, Goolets representative will come for one last visit on board to check how everything went and if you need any further assistance (transfers, suggestions on how to spend the day till your flight and similar).
