2) Croatia is a unique place where you can find a nice isolated bay, away from crowds, surrounded by crystal turquoise water and quiet surroundings, taste first quality fish, explore some old Croatian towns and visit a few Croatian Islands.
…and another one
Island Mljet – Polače
…and Pomena on Mljet, (National Park)
The island of Korčula
To avoid crowded night in Korčula, there is a small island Badija nearby…for good, quite night sleep
In late afternoon, you can visit another bay and prepare to stay overnight on anchor. No crowds, only you and your friends chatting about memories, waiting for dinner to be prepared, having a glass of wine, listening to the music you like…
On the way you will also stop and enjoy a lot of natural beauty of Croatia especially amazing bays like this
Bay and beach on Lopud
Mljet Melita and Sveta Maria
Mljet National Park is large area that borders two salt water lakes – Veliko and Malo Jezero (Large and Small Lake). The Lakes stretch for about 4 kilometres. Right in the middle of the Large Lake there is a small island / islet Melita (Sveta Marija) with large building of former Benedictine monastery, erected there in 12th century (see photo). The monastery’s building is now café/restaurant. The small island is connected by boats that sail there from both sides of the Lake.
And old town of Korčula. Known as the birthplace of the famous navigator and explorer Marco Polo.
