SATURDAY: Astakos or Messolonghi Port
Saturday embarkation in the evening at Astakos harbor. Goolets representative will wait for you and welcome you on board, but also help you break the ice and introduce you to your crew and the Captain. Also, you will be introduced to the layout of the boat so you can settle down. On the first evening, a welcome aperitif on board and then free dinner on the shore will be provided for you. If you don’t start a cruise from Astakos you could also start it at Messolonghi Port located in the center of a unique protected lagoon area, which is still unspoiled by mass tourism.

Sunday we leave early, before anchoring in a beautiful cove you will have time for breakfast during sailing, but enjoying in the shade or tanning on sunbeds, reading a book… Until we have a first swim stop to enjoy in the sea so transparent perfect for watersports and snorkeling. After a hearty meal aboard with fresh products and olive oil, refreshed by the breeze and a natural drink from the local vineyards, we set sail to tackle in the late afternoon to a new port, on a new island. We leave for Mitika, a little tourist village. Mitika Harbour is a small marina situated in the city of Mitikas with easy access to the shores of the Ionian Sea. The position of the city on the Ionian Islands makes it the perfect place for a relaxing holiday away from crowds. With gentle winds and mild weather almost all year round, this harbor is the ideal place for those who want to enjoy nautical sports. Water skiing, canoeing, kayaking, and windsurfing are the most sports that can be experienced in this unique place. Restaurants in the area will provide quality dishes and traditional Greek cuisine and fish dishes that will spice up your holiday and will ensure your stay here will be one you will cherish forever.

Monday will be devoted to the islet of Kalamos, lined with pines away from large crowds. Even at the first sight from a distance, Kalamos captivates with its wild landscape. Feel free to also enjoy some seafood at seaside tavernas in a simple, rural atmosphere.
The houses of Kalamos are stone-built, packed next to each other and intersected by narrow lovely streets. Late afternoon will be spent in a bay where you can enjoy in the sea, sun, and watersports and later dinner on board and night at anchor, under the stars.

On Tuesday, we will have a quick swim stop on islet from where we will reach the island of Meganissi, very close to Skorpios. This island is considered to be the best, as well as the most interesting of the offshore islets in this area. There are no sandy beaches on the island of Meganissi but there are several pebble or shingle coves with waters so clean and blue. Here you will discover a true local life and warmly welcoming locals. To complete the picture, you will later sail to gorgeous Onassis Island, where we will later spend the night with dinner in a beautiful setting.

WEDNESDAY: Kefalonia – Fiskardo
After a delicious morning breakfast, you will cruise towards Kefalonia island that holds a special charm. We arrive around 3 pm at the famous port of Fiskardo, the place where super-yachts and celebrities also love to gather. Fiskardo is a village is the northernmost port of Kefalonia, has a dense forest in the surrounding areas that have been declared areas of great natural beauty and are protected under Greek law. We recommend going for a walk in nature to feel energized and relaxed. The coast around Fiskardo has rocky terrain with numerous pebble-beach coves where you can soak up the sun, relax on the beach go swimming and enjoying in watersports. Emplisi Beach is especially beautiful! The amount of colorful fishes you can see for yourself whilst snorkeling is amazing. You, however, might need beach shoes if you find it hard to walk in pebbles, but overall this is a perfect beach to visit. We also offer you, if you wish, to rent a car for an excursion to the almost-island of Assos and the famous Myrtos beach.

THURSDAY: Ithaca – Kioni
Thursday morning, early departure for Ithaca, the island of Ulysses in magical ambiance of times past and the stories that light our imagination. We take breakfast in a bay, where you can also do some swimming and relaxing until we arrive at noon to the charming little natural harbor of Kioni, the picturesque traditional village. It is built on the slopes of a mountain, with little houses overlooking the port. In this little paradise, you will easily find many cafes and taverns in the lovely port. Later Captain will anchor in the nearby beautiful bay to spend the late afternoon, with dinner on board.

Friday we return to Astakos or Messolonghi, but of course not without stopping in the last cove to enjoy also the last meal on board, based on olive oil, and fresh delicious food. Arriving at Messolonghi with the setting sun which lights fishermen’s houses will make a nice ending to this cruise. An interesting fact is that the area is a nature reserve and you often can see sea turtles. Later on, you can if you want to try out some local food, and the specialty of Messolonghi is the grilled eel, which we really recommend to try.
Friday we first stop in the last cove to enjoy also the last meal on board…

After breakfast check out will be till 9:00 AM you will disembark for your transfer to Athens airport (arrival around 1 pm). Goolets representative will come for one last visit on board to check how everything went and if you need any further assistance (transfers, suggestions on how to spend the day till your flight and similar).
