MONDAY: Ölüdeni̇z – Butterfly Valley – YEŞİLKÖY
Your first full day on board starts with breakfast which will be served from 8 a.m. till 10 a.m. (as you agree with your chef). Today you will be visiting three interesting destinations. ÖlüDeniz is the most photographed beach in Europe. Here you also have the option of paragliding or just admiring a breathtaking view. For all paragliding enthusiasts, you will take off from Babadağ Mountain, 2000 m and fly over ÖlüDeniz beach and Blue Lagoon. However, if you want this adrenalin rush we suggest looking into pre-booking this activity. If you do not feel so adventurous, we suggest taking a walk on the beach and enjoying an incomparable view that Oludeniz offers. Pay attention to the bottom of the lagoon which is covered with white and sparkling with lights from nearby harbor. Sailing further you will come to Butterfly Valley, one of the most striking places in the Fethiye region.
500km Lycian Way and only accessible by water, the 86,000 square meters ButterFly Valley is home to roughly 100 species of butterflies. We recommend hiking which is worth because of the breathtaking view of thousands of butterflies covering the rocks and trees like a shawl – something you must never have seen or experienced before! It certainly isn’t a walk in the park, but with a rational mind and awareness for safety, the hike is entirely doable. Whether you are a sports enthusiast or a nature lover, the beautiful sights will absolutely impress you! Just bear in mind that for hiking always follow the red paint and do not stray from it on the trail. A waterfall that cascades from 350 meters high back canyon wall eventually becomes a gentle river, watering the lavender-flowered native chased trees; the butterflies ‘ natural habitat.
For some, Butter Fly Valley is a yearly retried, a place to escape their busy city lives for a few weeks or months. Yeşil Köy is a village in the district of Kaş – it is a safe bay for an overnight stay.

It is also a dreamland for cruisers and a very popular anchorage for sailors, who can enjoy and history together with nature. Kekova also named Caravola (Lycian; Dolichiste ) a small Turkish island near Demre district. After lunch you can explore Kekova island and the town of Kale ( ancient Simena ); where a combination of sunshine, swimming, and fascinating historic ruins will make this place ideal for holidays. Along the edge of the island facing the mainland lie the fascinating half submerged remains of a Lycian sunken city and some remains from the Byzantine times. Signs warn against diving, so you can not swim here because many visitors in the past took a piece of ancient relics with them as a souvenir. A fascinating Lycian necropolis, with chest – type thumbs spread out along the coastline, lies at Teimiussa, near the present-day Üçağız, on the mainland across from Kekova.
