You will be welcomed by our Goolets representative who will introduce you to the crew and captain. Once you settle down you can spend afternoon and night exploring the city that offers something for everyone and is definitely one of the best starting points for gulet cruise. On this first day, your boat will remain anchored in Bodrum harbor where you and other passengers can meet up for dinner and stay at the port until the next departure in the morning. We highly recommend swimming in crystal clear waters or going snorkeling. For those who are more adventurous, you can try some rock climbing. If you get hungry before lunch and want to eat something traditional but light you should try an octopus salad in some of the few local restaurants. However, after a delicious lunch on board, you will head to Kalymnos.
This is another destination ideal for food gourmands, sun worshipers, and sea lovers. The area is not spoiled with mass tourism, you will be able to enjoy an authentic Greek island feel. Explore the town, go for a swim or snorkeling and enjoy in wild nature. In the past sponge diving was a thriving trade among fisherman who would venture too deep waters. While staying at this island you should explore narrow streets of Pothia port and capital of Kalymnos and perhaps even buy small sponge as a souvenir. For those who are interested in history and want to go for a hike, you can visit the monastery of Agios Savvas located on the hill and dedicated to the patron saint of the island.
