THURSDAY: Kalymnos Island
Despite the fact that Kalymnos is a small island, it offers a variety of interests and activities and is worth a visit for many reasons. Kalymnos Island is best known as the island of sponge divers. Although tourism scene is growing you can still see the sponge fishermen at work even today and you can still experience the traditional way of life. We recommend going for a nice walk, swim in beautiful caves, and dare to discover lovely beaches and unspoiled scenery. For example, the hidden gem is village Vathi in the beautiful green valley. Due to mountains that frame the landscape of this island, mountain climbing is popular among many! Also, most of the beaches of Kalymnos are equipped with water sports facilities so everyone will find something they like. One more thing that shouldn’t be missed is experiencing the wonderful sunsets over the tiny island Telendos. After such active day the best way to relax is to head on board, and eat some delicious meals on board.
