SUNDAY: Knidos – Awesome Roman Ruins
It is just incredible to stand and imagine the way this city must have been like 5000 years ago. Knidos was one of the most important ports in the region, steeped in history and culture. It is also a place where two oceans collide. Knidos is the point which separates the Aegean from the Mediterranean coast of Turkey and one of the must-visit destinations.
Immerse yourself in…
the Greek history of ancient Knidos.
Enjoy a walk around the harbor and visit plenty of waterside restaurants. Or you may visit a swimming beach area with some really good views and crystal clear water. There are several nice shops there (nothing fancy) and it is generally a great spot for people that like to go out of the gulet but enjoy smaller quiet towns.
Try out traditional food

Most of the yachtsmen claim that if one does not anchor at Bencik, it means you did not sail on the Aegean coast of Turkey. This miniature fiord extends about 1.5 miles and there are tens of anchorages on both sides of the bay. This is one of the prettiest bays in Hisarönü ideal for watersports and swimming.

If you’re in search of “real” Turkey then Selimiye is the place to come. It has a laid-back family atmosphere and it is as unspoiled as it gets. There’s still a surprisingly wide choice of cafés and restaurants there – but life is calm and easy.
Enjoy in lovely Selimiye…
and discover where the action is!

MATCHING THIS ITINERARY TO THE BEST POSSIBLE GULETS
Not every gulet owner & captain is the same or will cruise this route in the same way. Some owners may prefer to stay most of the evenings on the anchor, while others will seek small pier and tie the gulet there. One owner might show you 4 different bays and towns in a day, while others will stay in the same place for the entire day. Some captains prefer to arrive at ports early – while some do it later. Everyone has their own ways.
The most important thing for you is to realize what YOU LIKE – finding the gulet that can make your wishes a reality.
We will help you with this process. We are experienced, and we know each which owner will suit each of the groups and make them super happy.
So let us know about your wishes and keep in mind that small details (as mentioned above) – will make your cruise an incredible experience.
