A combination of good food, interesting company and fascinating stories.
What is Captains Dinner?
- A dinner when the captain joins you at your table.
- It is more luxurious, abundant and special.
- On DELUXE GULETS, there is a dress code.
- It is a great opportunity to get more inside looks into gulet cruises, the crew and the stories they can share.
Why people LOVE captains dinners.
FOOD is great. Atmosphere is nice also. The experience you get out of it is very much worth the investment.
If you have only HALF BOARD (breakfast and lunch) on your cruise, then you MUST BOOK 1 NIGHT for this dinner.
Stay on anchor away from civilization. Have dinner on board. You will enjoy it to the max.
What if captain is not a talkative person or you do not wish to “mingle with the crew”?
Both things can happen. If captain is not a “talkative one” do not worry. He will join you during the dinner for a drink and leave you to enjoy your privacy. We will notify you about this before you book captains dinner.
If you do not like to mingle with the crew it is also fine. You can still enjoy in “amazing captains dinner” with very goo food – and without the captain sitting with you at the table. All you need to do is notify us about this in advance.
Greek, Turkish or Croatian Night combined with Captains Dinner
You can combine captains dinner with the “domestic experience”. In Turkey and Greece a belly dancer can make the evening more magical and fun.
In Croatia you can get “klape music”.
You can combine this with all domestic drinks (spirits and wine) and do some “local dancing”. The food is also 100% domestic that night.
Prices for captains dinners or “domestic night celebration”
Prices depend on the gulet category and destination where you are cruising.
Classic prices for captains dinner range from 30 €/person and up to 50 €/person.
Belly dancers and live music comes extra on top of this and prices are “on request”.
