Korčula is one of my favorite islands. Here is why!
Island Korčula is interesting for all types of people. You have some bars and discos to party in Korčula Town, you have lots of small shops to visit for a woman.
The town is Korčula is full of history (birthplace of Marco Polo and stuff) and close to the island you have some very amazing places where you can swim and have a good time.
When you decide for gulet Croatia cruise Korčula is one of the islands you should visit.
They also call the city Korčula Little Dubrovnik
And it is for a reason. The city is surrounded by city walls and a church just in the middle of the town gives it really good looks. You can have a walk around entire Town, check a museum, go to a restaurant for a nice meal or just take it easy. You can also take a donkey ride and check the insight of the island.
In highest season you can expect the place to be crowded, but I would still now avoid it. You can stay with a gulet on the anchor and go to the land with a dinghy. You check the place. Take a long walk.
Spend the evening ashore
And then go back to the gulet and spend an easy going night.
You can visit Korčula if you start your cruise in Split or in Dubrovnik or even if you do a one-way cruise from Split to Dubrovnik or the other way around.
