Island Of Vis Seafront Walkway View

Top 10 Islands in Croatia to visit during Croatia Cruise.

We get this questions a lot from our clients. Which are the Top islands to visit during a Croatia Cruise holidays? For this answer, I will borrow some credibility from guardian even if I do not exactly agree 100% from their observations.

Some time ago I have noticed this article written on Guardian:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/2008/may/21/croatia.top10.islands

It talks about TOP 10 islands in Croatia to visit. According to Guardian, the list goes like this:

1) Vis

2) Hvar

3) Kornati Archipelago

4) Brač

5) Mljet

6) Rab

7) Murter

8) Pag

9) Palagruža

10) Lopud

The list here is for sure very nice and I must say I visited all those places personally but I have to make some modifications to it.

First of all, I would not put Island Vis in the first place.

The Island is amazing and it offers lots of interesting places. Ina combination with famous Blue Cave, domestic food, military base and lots of incredible bays it is amazing – but I would not give it the first place.

For me the Kornati Archipelago still wins it for its amazing nature and I would probably put Hvar at no.2 right next to Mljet.

And there is 1 island here that is missing.

I am 100% sure that Korčula belongs into top 10 Islands in Croatia.

But overall this list is very good and all of this places deserve special attention.
