Srima
If you are among those who really want to rest while on vacation, Srima is the right choice for you. You can choose among a number of private apartments right on the seaboard.
After you have your breakfast on the terrace, you will literally step down to a beautifully maintained beach and clean sea. If you feel like some summer partying after a whole day of lying in the sun and swimming, Vodice is not far away. Vodice and Srima have actually been one for a long time – few people know where Vodice stops and Srima begins.
Church of Carmel
Looking from the sea, the panorama of Vodice is dominated by the Okit hill and a church of Our Lady of Carmel. On this elevation, the first church was erected in the 17th century, probably on the foundations of the even older small chapel. We recommend hiking to this place because you will truly get the best views and you can even go on a picnic at the surrounding area.
Wells
The town of Vodice (“small waters”) owes its name to the wells which never run dry, not even during the hottest days of summer. On the square, under the parish church, there used to be two wells around which the whole rural life was developed. From the upper well (closer to the parish church) drinkable water was taken, and the lower well contained water of less quality which was used for washing laundry and other household needs. During summer you can see the recreation of this tradition.
Velika Mrdakovica – Arauzona
On this rich archaeological site from the pre-Roman and Roman times about a hundred tombs have been discovered, out of which some date back from the 4th century B.C. According to the found artifacts and records of the Roman writers, experts identify this settlement as Arausona, a Liburnian-Roman settlement mentioned by Pliny.
A complex of blocks of houses made of fine carpeted stone joined with clay, and later with mortar was also found here. The settlement was surrounded by defensive walls, made from the fractal stone, and was divided by streets. Some buildings had water tanks incised into the bedrock for collecting the rainwater.
Island Prvić
Beautiful, quiet, old, noble, stealing breath in front of every house. Solid, stone, steep streets, stone houses, each capturing attention with its particularity, still forming a harmonious, single whole story. It is a story of glitter and wealth that used to be, and laughter that once resounded along these streets. Here you can see the museum of famous inventor Faust Vrančić and his family summer house. Prvić is definitely one of the true gems in Croatia.
Memorial Centar of famous inventor Faust Vrančić – Island Prvić
Faust Vrančić is maybe not the most famous inventor in the world, he doesn’t have the recognition he was supposed to have. However, he was a multidisciplinary artist. Born in a family from Šibenik whose best-known member is Antun Vrančić, who took him in during his early youth and cared for his formation and education. His most famous invention is a parachute. You will see all his inventions in original and minimal sizes in this fabulous museum.

National Park “Krka” – Gastronomic wonders of Krka
The national park is a vast and primarily unaltered area of exceptional natural value, including one or more preserved or insignificantly altered ecosystems. Nature Park “Vransko lake”
