The route around Dodecanese islands was very much in line with what we wanted – not too touristy, but still enough interesting options to check.
The whole crew was fantastic – very pleasant and accommodating and we had excellent cooperation and dialogue with Captain Duran and his team about modifications to the route according to weather conditions etc.
All these guys were perfect and the food that Mouhamed cooked was fantastic the whole time.
Which places, towns, attractions did you visit?
Bodrum. Leros, Patmos, Kalymnos, Kos, Lipsi….
Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company?
We loved the combination of island hopping and nice beaches and bays. The food was great also. Dodecanese islands cruise was very attractive.
What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?
Kalymnos hiking around the hills.
Bodrum underwater museum.
Volcanic island on Patmos.
Monastery of St. John was interesting also.
If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?
Nothing. Everything was done perfectly well.
What would be the advice you would give to your best friend interested in a gulet cruise?
Talk to your captain a lot. Ask him for advice. Also, be nice to the chef. It will be worth it. This 2 guys can do amazing stuff for you. Do not forget to mention they will get a nice tip at the end if you are happy. Turkish people will go an extra mile for this and for a small “investment” you can get some truly epic experiences back. Maybe I would only choose a gulet that can sail more the next time.
