Your Own Personal Guide to the Croatian Islands

We have to start this story with Damir Eterović, a very communicative and experienced captain from Split. He likes to talk about anything that’s related to the sea, islands, or yachts, and he is more than happy to paint a beautiful picture of Croatia – one that will stay with you forever.

Before deciding to have his very own gulet, Damir gained experience as a captain on other vessels, giving him lots of knowledge and enabling him to show off some special places that other captains don’t know about.

Damir admires nature and most of his cruising routes are in quiet places free from the hustle and bustle of tourists. With his knowledge, he will be happy to advise which islands are the most peaceful and those that have wonderful nature just waiting to be explored.

All nature lovers – pay attention!

Gulet Vito – Renovated For Season 2018

Vito was built in the Mengi Yay Tersanesi shipyard, Istanbul, in 1994. It was one of those special gulets which really stands out from typical designs and is one of the first to have a flybridge and all cabins in the lower deck, with a spacious salon on the main deck.

Gulet Vito has been in Croatia since 2000, so it has a long, wonderful history and a great name.

As the Croatian people treat their boats like people, showing their love for these vessels through their constant work in appearance, preservation, and renovations. This means that Vito looks like a brand new vessel – no matter her age. And she also had a large facelift in 2017 and 2018, which has only added to her beauty.

Damir has invested enormous effort and time in the renovation of the entire interior of the gulet for this year’s season. You will notice new cabins in white, plus an updated salon.
