Gulet Sherpa – Malta cruise Itinerary

Gulet Sherpa is beautiful 24-meter long gulet that can provide you with unforgettable blue cruise experience and the best summer holidays. Gulet is available for private charter in Malta. It features 8 comfortable cabins that can accommodate 16 people on board, which makes her ideal for larger groups. All cabins have showers and interior spaces are air-conditioned and were refurbished back in 2012.

However, nothing would be completed without an experienced crew that consists of 3 members. During your holiday they will be at your disposal at all times, taking care that you feel relaxed and stress-free. For those who want to enjoy to the fullest and have some fun, there is snorkeling equipment, fishing tackle, parasol. sunbeds for relaxing time, convenient deck shower, lounge with dining table and seating area. Furthermore, all safety features were fitted in Malta like it was recommended by the government.

Saturday: Valletta – St. Julians Bay

As the boat is berthed in a Marina within the Grand Harbour also known as the Port of Valletta, is a natural harbor on the island of Malta. Here you will be welcomed by the lovely crew members that will make you feel pleasant and comfortable but also help you settle down.

Once you settle down you will have the option of a boat tour of either nearby 3 cities or Valletta but that will be decided depending on your preferences. Late afternoon and overnight stay will be at St. Julians Bay. This bay is mostly famous for vast touristic activities and lively nightlife. This town is like a hotspot for many luxury hotels, restaurants, and trendy nightclubs.

Sunday: St. Julians Bay – Mellieha Bay

After breakfast, your captain will sail north towards St. Paul’s Islands. (where St. Paul the Apostle have had shipwrecked when he was traveling towards Rome). You will be able to enjoy in slight breeze and comfort of the gulet until boat anchors just under the statue of St. Paul.

One of the best things about this place is when you look back from the island, you are going to take in some of the most amazing views that have to be seen to be believed.

Monday: Mellieha Bay – Island Gozo

Delicious breakfast will be served on board in Mellieha before heading towards another island called Comino where you will spend a full day there. The tiny Island of Comino has unspoiled beauty and it is a haven for all those who love swimming, snorkeling, diving, windsurfing, and other water sports.

The Blue Lagoon, with its crystal clear blue sea, holds spectacular sights of the Maltese archipelago. Nowadays Comino is just inhabited by 1 family of around 3 / 4 persons which makes him a great place for a private getaway.

It’s quite a story to tell since they are the only remaining family living there. Furthermore, you will be able to swim in the crystal clear waters, go on Comino and visit the Castle where the famous movie Count of Montecristo was filmed. Around 5 pm the captain will move towards Malta sister island of Gozo and anchor in the harbor of Mgarr for an overnight stay.

Tuesday: Island Gozo – Xlendi Bay

We will organize for you a visit to the capital city of island Gozo, called Victoria-Rabat. Once you arrive at the center you will be lead medieval Citadel, with fortified walls that are the main attraction of this place. Within the Citadel, you’ll also come across the Gran Castello Historic House is a folklore museum. Gozo Museum of Archaeology has prehistoric stone sculptures. All this will last up to 2 pm.

Once you get back on board you around 2 pm you’ll set sails towards a very picturesque bay called Mgarr Ix-Xini and it is interesting to know that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt shot a number of movies on this place. They absolutely loved it there! Furthermore, this is a beautiful spot for swimming and snorkeling too! Even though it got popular during recent years, this place is still rarely busy. You can also enjoy in various watersports that gulet provides or head to the beach that is providing a gentle slope into the water.

At around 7 pm you will move towards another bay called Xlendi Bay to spend the night there. Here you can find a sandy beach leading into shallow waters. The area is very peaceful and because of its reef formations, people love to go diving here too.

Wednesday: Xlendi Bay – Marsalforn

Breakfast will be served on board while you can still admire the views of Xlendi. After breakfast, you will have time to have fun and explore this marvelous are that you maybe couldn’t fully enjoy last night. As said previously, you will love to dive here, enjoy in watersports or simply enjoy on the beach and swim. It is great fun for young and older generations because crystal clear waters of this area leave everyone amazed.

The fun will last up tp to 2 pm, and around 2 pm we move towards Dwejra and Marsalforn. Dwejra has monumental coastal formations and sea here is so gorgeous to witness slowly crashing to the rock, it is truly a magical attraction worth of stopping by. Here you can swim in the spectacular blue sea of the bay, have fun with your friends or family, read your favorite book, possibilities are truly endless.

Marsalforn is a delightful bay that is full of restaurants, shops, and at the same time, it has lively but quite a nice & relaxed vibe on another hand. You can enjoy in wonderful view out to the Mediterranean since you will anchor for an overnight stay in the lovely marina with crystal clear waters.

Thursday: Marsalforn – Gnejna Bays

Breakfast will be served in Marsalforn you previously stayed overnight, and round 11 am after swim break and tasty lunch Captain will set sails from Gozo towards Malta, northwest side Riviera & Gnejna Bays. Gnejna is very beautiful, has a sandy beach, and it is not overcrowded with masses of tourist.

Here you will relax, enjoy the sand, sun and blue waters. However when you get in the sea terrain becomes rocky, so we advise you to have proper shoes, especially children. All in all, it a truly postcard view type beach with golden sand which is nice for sitting and enjoying. Overnight will also be at this magical peaceful hidden gem.

Friday: Gnejna Bays – Zurrieq

Final delicious breakfast will be served to you and your group while you being surrounded by the pristine nature of Gnejna. Around 11 am you will head to Zurrieq, where you can take part in the Blue Grotto Tour, and finally visit the fishing bay of Marsaxlokk. The Blue Grotto is one of the most visited and popular tours of island Capri, located in Italy’s Bay of Naples.

You can enjoy this unique sea cave that has magical blue light filtering through the water by opening below sea level. It is a true wonder of nature, and rare sight to see. Finally, after the tour, you will sail back towards the port and Marina at around 7 pm.

Saturday: Valletta

The moment to say goodbye to your yacht and crew has unfortunately arrived. Before you check-out, Goolets representative will give you one last visit on board to check how everything went and if you need any further assistance (transfers, suggestions on how to spend the day till your flight and similar).
