Arrive in Bodrum
Bodrum is the Eastern St. Tropez with tons of options. You can party, check out the city castle, haggle in the market or just take a nice walk around the harbour and view hundreds of gulets staying there.
Knidos – Awesome Roman Ruins
It is just incredible to stand and imagine the way this city must have been like 5000 years ago. It was one of the most important ports in the region, steeped in history and culture. It is also a place where two oceans collide. Knidos is the point which separates the Aegean from the Mediterranean coast of Turkey.
Some of the fun stuff you can do on this tour:
Best view of Bodrum
Swim in Bencik Bay
Best Turquoise bays
Oil Factory in Datca
Taste & Check
Bozburum Boat Building
“Old School” boat building
Datca – Quiet Fishing Village
Enjoy a walk around the harbour. Visit plenty of waterside restaurants or visit a swimming beach area with some really good views. There are several nice shops there (nothing fancy) and it is generally a great spot for people that like to go out of the gulet but enjoy smaller quiet towns.
Bencik Bay & Fjord
Most of the yachtsmen claim that if one does not anchor at Bencik, it means you did not sail on the Aegean coast of Turkey. This miniature fiord extends about 1.5 miles and there are tens of anchorages on both sides of the bay. This is one of the prettiest bays in Hisarönü.
Orhaniye & Selimiye
If you’re in search of “real” Turkey then Selimiye is the place to come. It has a laid-back family atmosphere and it is as unspoiled as it gets. There’s still a surprisingly wide choice of cafés and restaurants there – but life is calm and easy.
Dirsek buku – Bozburun
Village life in Bozburun is geared around agriculture, fishing and the building of the traditional gulets. It is very interesting to check out the local boatyards and see how these amazing vessels are built. Dirsek Buku offers perfect shelter a great swim and a nice restaurant. No access from land and great place to visit.
